2. Hosting

This website is hosted by STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany ("STRATO"). The servers on which visitors' personal data is processed are located in Germany. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR has been concluded with STRATO.

When you visit this website, STRATO automatically collects and processes technically necessary access data (server log files) transmitted by your browser as part of hosting the site, in particular:

• IP address
• date and time of the request
• page or file accessed
• amount of data transferred
• whether the request was successful (HTTP status code)
• browser type and version used
• operating system used
• referrer URL (previously visited page)

Processing this data is necessary to provide the website in a technically secure and stable manner, and is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a functional and secure website). Server log files are retained for a limited period for security purposes (e.g. to investigate misuse) and then deleted.

3. No cookies, no tracking

This website does not use cookies and does not employ any analytics or tracking services. No usage profiles are created.

4. No external embeds

Web fonts are served locally from our own server; there is no connection to Google Fonts or any other external font service. This website does not embed map services, social media plug-ins or any other third-party content.

5. Contacting us by email and contact form

This website offers two ways to get in touch: the "Write an Email" link, which opens your own email application directly, and a contact form on the "Contact" page (fields: name, email address, optionally hotel/company and phone number, message). When you submit the contact form, the data you entered is forwarded by a server-side script on our hosting server directly by email to contact@jakelhospitality.com. It is not stored in a database and is not shared with any third party beyond our hosting provider's technical mail infrastructure. A hidden field, invisible to human visitors, is used solely for automated spam prevention. Any data you choose to share with us (e.g. name, email address, phone number, content of your enquiry) is processed solely to handle your enquiry and to communicate with you. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures / performance of a contract) and, where applicable, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to enquiries).

6. Retention period

Personal data from your enquiry is deleted once it is no longer required to handle your request, unless statutory retention obligations require otherwise.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21) regarding your personal data. Please contact us using the details above.

8. Right to lodge a complaint

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. This is generally the authority in your usual place of residence, or the authority responsible for the controller, which for Bavaria is the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht).
